About Tierralta
We are Gabrielle, from Brazil, and Lucas, from Colombia, a couple united by love and a shared passion for truly special coffee. In our home countries, we grew up surrounded by the aromas, stories, and traditions of great coffee. We’ve always been curious coffee lovers, constantly exploring new flavors, notes, and ways of enjoying each cup.
When we moved to the Netherlands, we noticed something surprising: Colombian and Brazilian coffee are everywhere — celebrated as some of the best Arabica beans in the world — but often missing the soul of what makes them truly special. Why? Because most of this coffee arrives as green beans and is roasted here in Europe. While that brings convenience, it also strips away the unique identity that comes from being roasted close to its origin, by people who understand its nature deeply.
That’s where Tierralta begins.
In 2025, in the charming town of Delft, we decided to bridge this gap. Our mission is simple but powerful:
To bring the real taste and experience of Colombian and Brazilian specialty coffee to the Netherlands, as it was meant to be enjoyed.
We source coffee that is roasted in its homeland, close to the soil where it grows, ensuring the flavor, aroma, and story stay intact. Our coffees come directly from small farms with generations of expertise, grown under the shade of native trees, and harvested with care, cherry by cherry.
These are not just great green beans. These are great final products, carefully roasted by true masters, full of richness, complexity, and identity.
We handpick each coffee not just for its outstanding quality, but also for the people and values behind it. We champion organic farming, ethical sourcing, and fair trade. Every cup we offer helps preserve traditional methods, protect biodiversity, and uplift the communities who make it all possible.
At Tierralta, we believe that a good coffee tells a story of land, culture, and craftsmanship. We’re here to help you taste that story, sip by sip.
From the farm to your cup.
